Welcome to the Aviemore School of Highland Dance Website

Highland dancing is one of the oldest forms of folklore dancing with its powerful and graceful footwork, strength of upper body to control posture with integral arm, hand and head movement. The dances also provide for great coordination and muscle development.

We are very proud of our school and its dedicated teachers with an emphasis on offering the highest level of technical training within a fun and creative atmosphere. The main focus of the school is preparation for competitive dancing, choreography and examinations to a wide range of dancers from age 3 years to adult.
